Ngāti Porou Oranga are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Leader to join our Puhi Kai Iti Team at our Community Health Center based in Kaiti, Gisborne.
The Clinical Nurse Leader role is crucial to providing senior nursing leadership to our clinic kaimahi and is accountable for enabling the delivery of high-quality healthcare within the Ngati Porou Oranga Hauora, focusing on delivering safe, equitable and whānau centred care.
This is a Full time position based in Kaiti, Gisborne.
Salary : $100,000 – $130,000 per year

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Relevant Healthcare qualification in Primary Care.
- A current Annual Practicing Certificate, ACLS Level 6 and Core Advance.
- Demonstrates knowledge of quality improvement initiatives including clinical audit review and knowledge of information and communication technology, including Microsoft Office and MedTech 32.
- Understanding of Vaccine preventable diseases and strategies inclusive of notifiable processes
- Have the ability to connect with patients on a personal level and show genuine empathy is crucial for this role.
- Effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team is essential.
- Have a great team spirit with a drive to make a difference in the lives of others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to create effective working relationships.
- Flexible, innovative, and open to continuous learning in a changing environment. You should be ready to adapt to changing circumstances and take the initiative when necessary.
- A high level of cultural sensitivity and awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi and the Ottawa charter.
